If you get this error:

Microsoft Access cannot open this file.
This file is located outside your intranet or on an untrusted site. Microsoft Access will not open the file due to potential security problems.
To open the file, copy it to your computer or an accessible network location.

See this Microsoft Knowledge Base article. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/303650

Also do this:
Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools | Internet Options
Click the Security Tab
Click the Local Intranet zone
Click the Sites button
Un-check the Automatically detect intranet network checkbox
Leave the three options below the one above checked
Click OK twice

Hope it helps,
David
