Internet Privacy Statement
This privacy statement applies to our entire website.
Introduction
Protecting your privacy is
important to us. We hope the following statement will help you understand how David Anderson Consulting
collects, uses and safeguards the personal information you
provide to us on our site.
I. Description of the information we collect.
As you browse the DAConsult.com website, certain web pages may ask you to
provide information appropriate to the task at hand. In those cases, you
will be presented with a confirmation page on which you can verify the
information you've supplied, which may or may not include your E-Mail
address. This information may be stored on our own databases, or in
"cookies" located on your computer. Cookies are small text files
that are stored on your computer. Sites that store personalization
information will normally employ cookies for that purpose.
With every page you request from our site, your browser will provide certain
information, such as your IP address, browser type, etc. This information will
be stored in our server's log files. We'll track what cities are most active,
what countries are most active, which pages are visited most often, which search
engines generate the most traffic for us, and what the most popular paths are
through our site.
II. How we use this information.
We may use cookies to store information for the purpose of personalizing your
visit and to maintain information relevant to your stay at our site.
At the end of the month, the information your browser sent to our log files
will be aggregated together using a program called WebTrends to give us
information about visitors' browsing habits. This information, along with
your feedback, will be used to help us determine how to better our site. None of
this information will be shared with other sites or companies without your
permission. We will not engage in the practice of sending unsolicited E-Mail to
our site's guests.
III. Your choices regarding the marketing use of collected information.
Currently, information is not being collected for marketing purposes. If it ever is,
a web-based form will be provided to allow you the opportunity to
grant or deny our permission to use your information. The amount of time
needed to implement your choice of permission to use that information will be
posted on this page and the form page at that time.
IV. Consumer Inquiries
Consumer inquiries may be E-Mailed to us at secure@daconsult.com
You may also call our office during normal business hours. We will do our best
to answer all your questions in as prompt and courteous a manner as possible.
V. How we protect your information.
In online forms where payment information is requested, we use the industry standard Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol that
encrypts personal information being transferred over the Internet. For credit
cards that are processed from our website, an Address Verification Service
inquiry will be made to verify the accuracy of your address information,
safeguard your credit, and help eliminate fraudulent use of your credit card
information. Employee access to personal information is kept to a minimum, and
our employees are forbidden to share confidential information with other
individuals or companies where there is no clear, appropriate, ethical, legal
business reason for doing so.
